Upland Game Hunting at The Bison Ranch

 

Our unique setting where the virgin prairie of the west meets the fertile cropland of midwest supports an abundance of upland game including sharptail grouse and ringneck pheasant. 

 

Here's what to expect when you pair an upland game hunt with your bison hunting package at The Bison Ranch:

 

• Partially-guided hunting on tens of thousands of acres of private grass and crop land.

  • We provide scouting, access, and recommendations.  The actual hunting is left to you and your group!

• Dogs are encouraged but not entirely necessary.  We have a heated garage with a place for your dog and gear.  

• Opportunity to spend your afternoons hunting for other species if you limit out. 

• Back at the camp, you'll get to show off your cooking skills in our fully-equipped kitchen (with outdoor gas grill provided). Share your stories in our heated garage while or, if you'd prefer, we'll "guide" you to some colorful local establishments for dinner and drinks.

• Sharptail Grouse:  TBD for 2019.  

• Ringneck Pheasant:  TBD for 2019.
